Solid, Robust Design
Trace Affex's patented robotic 300-disc autoloader is a heavy duty, industrial grade system incorporating built-in autoloader intelligence that minimizes customer intervention. Having been built to industrial grade specifications, preventive and corrective maintenance downtimes are minimized. The autoloader automatically detects when CDs have been loaded or unloaded, then recalibrates before switching into the high-speed robotics mode. The autoloader inhibits the robotic mechanism from moving anytime an access door has been opened to ensure operator safety. The system comes configured with two 150-disc input and output hoppers that can be software selected and linked to specific CD-R writers permitting two separate duplication jobs to be run simultaneously, while ensuring CDs are not mixed. Left/right hopper control directs the robotics to feed CDs from the designated input hopper to the preselected CD-R writers and then once duplicated they are removed and stacked in the designated output hopper. The system is also equipped with a separate reject drawer where failed CDs are stored for removal independent of operations. Attractive Plexiglas window and front mounted LED's permit easy visual confirmation of system status.

Trace Affex's POWERWRITE Software was designed specifically to support CD duplication requirements. POWERWRITE Software fulfills the need as a sophisticated, full-featured software package capable of supporting the requirements of the POWERWRITERPRO Systems. POWERWRITE Software is a Microsoft Windows 2000 compatible package using 2000's multithreading and networking capability to enhance performance.
POWERWRITE Software is a simple and intuitive package to use, with most functions controlled by a single point and click of the mouse. Network connectivity allows users to "drag and drop" files from anywhere on their network and even master ISO-9660, audio and video images. Automatic Global File retrieval automatically searches your entire network and displays all previously stored global images for easy retrieval, eliminating the need to search through folders to find a particular file. Disc Explorer is an analytical tool allowing users to view the contents and structure of a CD. During CD duplication the user has a real time view of job and drive status, job scheduling, the priority queue and history log. The system maintains a complete listing of all system activities with a date and time stamp. The log is particularly important for process control personnel and ISO certification tracking. The user can select any individual or combination of test, record or verify modes depending on the jobs requirements. POWERWRITE Software is the only CD duplication package to provide sample audit verification, which reduces verify time. This feature ensures outgoing CD quality without impacting throughput. Routine maintenance and troubleshooting is made easy from a maintenance menu providing special tools that support drive analysis and alignment.
